L9 board stuck at zero hashrate after thermal shutdown

On-bench diagnosis
Because the BM1491 chips are wired in a serial chain, a single break drops the whole board to zero. We ran the L9 PT test file on the fixture, checked for shorts to ground, and verified the 0.8 V / 1.2 V / 1.8 V LDO rails. One LDO rail was collapsed and the chain went dead at a specific chip position under thermal imaging.
Root cause
